Thank you for considering the Appleton Yacht
Club to moor your vessel. It will
not take long before you to realize this organization is “Member Driven” not
“Profit Driven.” We have a long
tradition of providing strong boating relationships, and urge our members to
promote the spirit of good boating fellowship.
As a “Yachting Member” you gain many benefits.
CLUBHOUSE
The clubhouse offers spectacular wrap-around views
of the harbor, and the historic “Mighty Fox” River. The clubhouse is open seven days a week.
Members are able to enjoy many amenities at our meandering bar including
appetizers, grilled chicken, burgers, homemade pizzas, and more. There are a wide variety of libations being
served by our friendly staff at reasonable prices. Two patio areas beckon you
outside with heaters, umbrellas, and a gas grill for your pleasure.
The comfortable dining room/banquet facility, with
its expansive windows, offers a great view of the water from every seat. On Wednesday’s
our specials include mouth-watering ribs, chicken dinners, and more. Our Friday
menu offers a variety of tasty seafood choices. We also offer some Daily and Seasonal
Specials. All of this is prepared by our club chef, and served by our friendly
wait staff.
At the clubhouse we have a variety of events and
parties year round that you are welcome to attend. You may also invite friends and family to
join these festivities. Your membership
also grants you the privilege of using the club facilities to host private
functions, free of charge, for such events as: business meetings, birthdays,
reunions, weddings, showers, graduation, and retirement parties. You are able to use our house catering
service, or bring in your own food and use the kitchen facilities, but all
beverages must be purchased at the bar.
MARINA
We
have 75 slips and tie-ups sheltered from wind, waves, and stormy weather. The entire harbor area is fenced and lighted for
your safety and security. All slips include water, electricity, and
night lighting. Thirty of these slips
are COVERED, and available for winter storage.
There is a work slip available for maintenance, and/or repairs. You will
gain access to the club’s Tack Room where our jacks, hoists, and slings are
available for your use. Work rafts are
also available for the “do it yourselfers.” You will appreciate the
free pump-out
privilege, and the convenience of a gas pump 24/7 with approved credit.
Two bathhouses are available in the marina, and are
accessible anytime. The bathhouse on the east end of the marina has
a refrigerator and pizza oven, as well as a covered patio area with furniture
and gas grills. In addition there are 5
other
locations on the premises with a variety of green spaces, decks and patios that
provide places to socialize. Many of
these areas have picnic tables, chairs, and gas or charcoal grills available
for your use.
PRIVILEGES
Your membership
allows you to enjoy the amenities of other “Yachting Club of America”
participating marinas. As a “Yachting
Member” you have a voice in club management with voting rights, and the ability
to hold office in any position of our governing body. You will be given a
clubhouse key card, and receive a monthly newsletter to keep you informed of
the upcoming month’s social events, parties, menu specials, educational
classes, and other activities

how gusty or windy the day, as you will always be able to go boating on a
