To: All Yachting Members:

 

Following is important 2008 information about membership dues, critical due dates, scrip parameters, and slip application dates.

 

Enclosed you will find your invoice for 2008 dues for $362.50.  Please pay separately from the Mooring Application mailed in early December to all yachting members that kept a boat in the harbor in 2007.  As stated in the AYC By-Laws and approved by the Board of Directors a service charge of $50.00 will apply to all late payments. 

 

Yachting memberships and seniority terminate if unpaid by the annual meeting on January 12, 2008.  At that time, seniority will be lost and the yachting application form must be submitted to the Board and, if approved, will be subject to any initiation fee in the same amount as a new member joining the AYC.

 

Payment Parameters:

Our invoice terms state that payment should be postmarked by 01/12/2008, or will be subject to the $50 service charge. In the event that you are unable to pay in a timely fashion please be aware of the following critical cut off dates. Payments can be by check via the mail or in person via check or cash.

 

Critical Dates:

In order to apply for a slip in the first round you must be current as of 01/12/2008.

Active yachting member dues payment must be received by 01/12/2008 to vote at the annual meeting.

 

Scrip parameters and availability:

As in the past the 2008 scrip will be quarterly color-coded. Scrip may be used in advance but may not be used once the quarter has past. The only exception is for our valued “snow bird members”.

Scrip and membership key cards will be available for pick up after the annual meeting on 1/12/08.
